What this website collects
This is an informational website. It does not collect personal data from visitors: there are no contact forms, no registration, no comments, no newsletter, and no analytics or profiling tools are in use.
The only contact channel provided is an email address. Writing to it starts ordinary correspondence, handled outside this website and kept for as long as needed to reply and follow up.
Data collected automatically
As with any website, the server records certain technical information that browsers transmit automatically: IP address, date and time of the request, the page requested, browser type and operating system.
This data is not used to identify visitors. It serves only to operate the website, verify that it works correctly and protect it from abuse. The legal basis is the controller’s legitimate interest in the security of the service (Article 6(1)(f) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679). Logs are kept by the hosting provider, Aruba S.p.A., for the period that provider defines.

Third-party content
Some items in the Media section contain videos hosted on YouTube. Videos are not loaded automatically: a preview hosted on this website is shown instead, together with a button. Only if you choose to start the video does your browser contact Google’s servers, which at that point receive your IP address and may set their own cookies. Starting a video therefore constitutes explicit consent.
Processing carried out by Google is governed by Google’s privacy policy.
The website also links to external sites, including the National Research Council of Italy and academic repositories. The controller is not responsible for data processing carried out by those sites, which publish their own policies.

Data is neither disclosed to third parties nor published, except as strictly necessary for the technical operation of the website by the hosting provider, which acts as a data processor.
Your rights
You may ask the controller for access to your personal data, its rectification or erasure, restriction of processing, and you may object to processing, under Articles 15 to 22 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679.
